Shanna Story is the Broker/Owner of Parr & Abernathy Realty, a respected and long-standing real estate firm serving the Tri-Cities and surrounding Central Virginia communities. She became the owner of the company in 2020, carrying forward a legacy established in 1986 while leading the firm through a period of strategic growth modernization, and expanded service offerings.
With more than two decades of experience in real estate, Shanna's career spans residential sales, property management, brokerage operations, and leadership at the local and regional levels. Under her ownership, Parr & Abernathy has continued to strengthen its reputation for trusted guidance, personalized service, and deep community roots, while also expanding its property management division and investing in the firm's long-term sustainability.
Shanna is highly engaged in REAL TOR® leadership and professional development. She currently serves as Past President of CVR MLS, following a year of leadership focused on collaboration, innovation, and member service. In addition, she is passionate about education and has served as a real estate instructor for both the Richmond Association of REALTORS® and the Southside Virginia Association of REAL TORS®, sharing her practical knowledge and experience with fellow professionals.
