This one-hour course will provide an overview of artificial intelligence (A.I.), how it is impacting the real estate industry, and potential pitfalls to avoid when utilizing A.I. software. First, the course will breakdown what artificial intelligence is and how it might be used in the real estate business. The class will go through several real-life scenarios to apply the information learned. Next, the course will discuss the use of A.I. in the context of Fair Housing as well as in advertising. This will be followed by a discussion of the duty of confidentiality, breaches of that duty, and the use of A.I. in contracts. Finally, the course will conclude with a discussion of intellectual property and a Q&A session. CE APPROVAL: 1 Hour Legal Updates, Not approved for PL

This course will provide the building blocks needed to understand fair housing laws and properly practice real estate without violating them. Throughout the course, we will look at real-life recent fair housing cases and discuss how the law applied in each instance. Pending CE/PL Approval
This course will provide the building blocks needed to understand fair housing laws and properly practice real estate without violating them. This course will breakdown the sources of law that regulate fair housing and review the definitions of the protected classes under federal and state and outline the enforcement process. After discussing ethical issues, the class will do a deep dive into specific fair housing issues, including assistance animals, hoarding, tenant selection criteria, harassment, and advertising. Throughout the course, we will look at real-life recent fair housing cases and discuss how the law applied in each instance.
